Mermaidia Braids at the 'One Brighter Day' Music Festival

What a day! Mermaidia Braids was thrilled to be part of the One Brighter Day music festival at the Whittlesea Showgrounds. The event was full of sunshine, music, and braiding fun, and we loved every minute of it!

A Beautiful Sunny Sunday

The festival ran from 9 am to 6 pm, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. The sunny day set the stage for an amazing event, and we were busy all day long. By the end of it, we had completed 21 festival braids and 17 extension ponytails. There’s nothing quite like the excitement of braiding while the sounds of live music fills the air.

Music, Vibes, and Braids

The lineup of bands was fantastic, keeping the energy high throughout the day. We had the pleasure of listening to talented acts like Tristan Ross, Screamin' Eagles, Reece Mastin, Skyhooks, and Shanae Watson as we braided away. The combination of music and braids really brought the festival spirit to life!

Meeting Amazing Families

As always, the best part of any event is meeting the amazing people who come by. We were fortunate to meet so many wonderful families, each with their unique stories and style. Whether they were stopping by for a festival braid or an extension ponytail, it was great to see so many smiling faces enjoying the day.

Overall, One Brighter Day was a fantastic experience for us at Mermaidia Braids. Music, sunshine, and creativity – what more could we ask for? We can’t wait for the next event and hope to see even more familiar faces next time around!
