Wangaratta Christmas Market (Mermaidia Braids Attendance Confirmed)
The Wangaratta Christmas Market at Apex Park is a cherished annual event that brings together the community to celebrate the festive season. Typically held in early December, the market features a diverse array of stalls showcasing local artisans, craftspeople, and vendors from North East Victoria. Visitors can explore unique handmade gifts, festive decorations, and enjoy a variety of food and beverages.
The market often coincides with the Lighting of the Christmas Tree ceremony at Riverside Square, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with holiday cheer. Live entertainment, children's craft activities, face painting, and appearances by Santa Claus are common highlights, making it a family-friendly event that appeals to all ages.
In 2024, the Lighting of the Christmas Tree event was scheduled for December 6 but was unfortunately canceled due to inclement weather. However, the Christmas Market is set to proceed on December 20 at Apex Park, promising an evening of festive shopping and community spirit.

The Howlong Christmas Festival on December 15, 2024, is set to be a magical day filled with festive cheer for all ages. Horsham Show (Mermaidia Braids Attendance Confirmed)
The 2024 Horsham Show is held on the AFL Grand Final Long Weekend every year. This year it opens again with the Twilight Carnival on Saturday 28th September (5 – 9pm) and Show Day on Sunday 29th September (10am – 10pm).
The 148th Grand Annual Horsham Agricultural Show is western Victoria’s largest Show and brings together carnival rides, fireworks, livestock exhibits, yard dog trials and shearing as well as creative competitions in art, photography, home produce and handcrafts.
Featuring an amateur wrestling ring, a virtual gaming room, animal nursery, native animals and reptiles, roving entertainment, an agricultural playground, giant sandpit and sensory tent. A food court, wine tasting and a members lounge round off the show.

The first Wagga Wagga Show was held on 21st November 1864. The Wagga Wagga Show Society originally operated under Murrumbidgee Pastoral & Agricultural Association. Throughout the years the Wagga Wagga Show has continued to grow and is now an important day in Wagga Wagga, with agricultural and cultural displays.
We are already working on making next year’s Wagga Wagga Show bigger and better!

celebration of the Winter Solstice in Mansfield, at the foot of
