Kiama Agricultural Show – Braids, Blowholes & Beach Vibes! 🌊✨

Our first ever visit to the Kiama Agricultural Show was nothing short of magical! This charming coastal town welcomed Mermaidia Braids with open arms, and we absolutely loved being part of the show for the very first time.

Every event gives us the chance to meet new people, and the Kiama crowd did not disappoint. Friendly faces, curious kids, and lots of sparkle-loving families made our stall feel like a buzzing hub of colour and fun.

The weather was turned on beautifully for us – sunny skies and warm temperatures around 33–35°C made for a perfect summer show day. But what truly made this event special was the location. As we braided, we had the most incredible backdrop of rolling ocean waves and surfers strolling up straight from the beach to join in the fun of the show. It’s not every day we get to create magical braids with the sea breeze in our hair and the scent of saltwater in the air! 🏖️

After the show wrapped up, we took the chance to explore one of Kiama’s most famous natural wonders – the Kiama Blowhole. Watching the water burst up from the rocky cliffs was absolutely awe-inspiring. Michelle, much like Moana, has always felt a deep pull toward the ocean. It’s where she feels most calm and connected – and this stop was no exception. The blowhole was the perfect place to pause, reflect, and soak up the beauty of nature after a high-energy day.

Thank you, Kiama, for giving us such a warm welcome and a brand-new experience we’ll never forget. From the ocean views to the incredible community, this show has earned a special place in our hearts.
