Kicking Off 2025 at the Bass Coast Summer Agricultural Show! 🌊

What an amazing way to start the year! The Bass Coast Summer Agricultural Show in Wonthaggi marked the first stop on our 2025 calendar, and it did not disappoint. This was our third year at the show, and we couldn’t be happier to be back. It’s always such a joy to reconnect with familiar faces who return to see us each year, as well as meet new friends who discover the magic of Mermaidia Braids for the first time.

The weather was on our side with the sun shining brightly and temperatures hitting a warm 33-35°C. While it was toasty, it was nothing short of perfect for a summer show. The energy was high, the vibes were incredible, and we loved every moment spent braiding and creating dazzling looks for our clients.

After the show wrapped up, we took some time to unwind by heading to the beach. There’s something so magical about the ocean – the waves crashing, the salty breeze, and that serene blue horizon. Michelle, much like Moana, has always felt a deep connection to the sea. It seems to centre her, offering a moment of calm after the busy day.

Of course, we couldn’t resist filming a few fun facts while at the beach – because who doesn’t love combining work with a bit of ocean magic?

The Bass Coast Show has always held a special place in our hearts, and this year was no exception. Thank you to everyone who came by our stall, whether you’re a long-time friend or a new face. We’re so excited for the year ahead and can’t wait to bring Mermaidia Braids to even more shows, beaches, and magical places.
