Australia Day at the Splash Park – A True Blue Celebration! 🌭☀️

What an absolutely perfect way to spend Australia Day – right here in Wangaratta at the Splash Park, surrounded by sunshine, sizzling sausages, and smiling faces!

The day had everything we love about being Aussie: a community coming together, the smell of a good old-fashioned BBQ in the air, raffles for meat platters (because what’s more Aussie than that?), and plenty of water play fun to beat the summer heat!

Mermaidia Braids brought the sparkle as always, flashing off our amazing festival braids under the sun. Kids, teens, and even a few brave adults joined in the fun, walking away with colourful, glitter-filled styles to match the celebration vibes.

There was something extra special in the air – a sense of pride, togetherness, and good ol’ Aussie spirit. We were so proud to be part of this local event, celebrating everything that makes our country unique: mateship, sunshine, community, and the freedom to express ourselves (with braids and bling, of course!).

A big shoutout to everyone who stopped by our stall, grabbed a snag, won a raffle, splashed around, or simply shared a smile.

What a great day to be an Australian!
