Mermaidia Braids at the Bendigo Show 2024

This year, Mermaidia Braids returned to the Bendigo Show with high hopes for sunny skies, fun-filled days, and the joy of reconnecting with familiar faces – and we were thrilled that it met every expectation!

On Friday, we kicked off with a sparkling start, creating 27 Festival Braids and 18 Extension Ponytails. Although the show officially ended at 9 pm, the braiding magic kept flowing, and we continued styling until 9:40 pm! At Mermaidia Braids, we’re dedicated to bringing as much colour, sparkle, and joy as we can, so we braid until every last bit of glitter is shared.

Saturday came with even more excitement as we met many returning customers and a lovely family of five who made our day. We quickly found ourselves with a three-hour wait time, but the patience and enthusiasm of our guests kept us energised. By the end of the day, we had completed 35 Festival Braids and 34 Extension Ponytails. People kept coming for their touch of colour and sparkle, making us feel like part of their special Bendigo Show memories.

This year’s show was a true reminder of why we love what we do – seeing familiar faces, creating dazzling styles, and sharing the magic of Mermaidia Braids with new and old friends alike.
