Mermaidia Braids Debuts at the Corowa Show: A Day of Sunshine and Special Moments

This weekend, Mermaidia Braids made its very first appearance at the Corowa Show, and what an incredible experience it was! We were greeted with a gorgeous sunny day, and from 9 am to 3:30 pm, we had the pleasure of creating 10 festival braids and 10 extension ponytails. As always, it’s the people we meet that make every event special, and Corowa was no exception.

A Beautiful Day with Wonderful Families

The Corowa Show had that perfect small-town vibe we love, and we had the opportunity to meet so many amazing families. Every braid and ponytail was a chance to bring a little extra sparkle to the day, and seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces made it all worth it.

A Special Little Girl with a Big Heart

One moment that truly touched us happened when a little girl, who had been excited about getting her hair done, unfortunately fell ill from heat stroke. She was a bit shaken after vomiting right outside our gazebo. We immediately sat her down in the shade, gave her a bottle of water, and sprayed some cool water on her neck and face to help bring her temperature down.

After some time resting, she felt much better, and we were able to give her an extension ponytail, complete with sparkles and butterflies. Seeing her smile after everything she went through was a heartwarming moment. Her family was so understanding and lovely, and we feel incredibly blessed to have met them.

A Memorable First Time in Corowa

Our first time at the Corowa Show was one for the books. The sunshine, the wonderful families, and that special little girl who showed so much strength made it an unforgettable day.
