EVENT 17 - Wangaratta Winter Fest

Mermaidia Braids unleashed our braiding magic at Wangaratta Winter Fest, completing 48 Braids/Ponytails on a huge day and night from 10 am to 9 pm. Reveling in local events, we cherished our collaboration with the Rural City Council. It marked one of our biggest one-day festivals, with the added brilliance of my nephew Cam, a natural customer service maestro, which of course got renamed to the ‘smooth operator’.

The event, graced with sunshine, saw a snow machine conjure the magical winter wonderland that defines Wangaratta. As we wrapped up, the skies decided to join the party with rain, making our pack-up a bit cold and wet. But no amount of rain could dampen the spirits of such a fantastic day, leaving us with memories of laughter, braids, and the whimsical blend of sunshine and snow.
