EVENT 14 - Groovin The Moo
Mermaidia Braids ventured into the music mayhem at Groovin The Moo in Bendigo, a stark contrast to our usual family-friendly events. With a population of over 120,000 in the local areas, Saturday unfolded from 11 am to 10 pm, yielding a slow, chilly day. The Prince of Wales Showgrounds hosted an event that, while not our typical scene, proved a teenager's music haven.
In this unique dynamic, we embraced the unconventional, even crafting a beard adorned with green extension hair—a spirited celebration of Irish roots. Jordan showcased her burgundy extension box braids, flashing them to the lively crowds of Bendigo. Groovin The Moo may have been different, but Mermaidia Braids embraced the diversity, finding humor and inspiration in the unexpected rhythms of a non-traditional event. Our journey in Bendigo and surrounding areas continued, revealing new facets of creativity and connection in every braided tale.
