EVENT 53 - Goranwarrabul House Seymour NAIDOC Week Celebration
🌟 Celebrating NAIDOC Week at Goranwarrabul House: A Sunshine-Filled Success! 🌟
We’re thrilled to share the highlights of our 53rd event with Goranwarrabul House in Seymour for NAIDOC Week Celebrations! The day was bathed in beautiful sunshine, setting the perfect backdrop for a celebration that truly shone.
This year, we put our custom-made Aboriginal braids to the ultimate test, and they looked absolutely stunning! The festival spirit was alive and vibrant, and we couldn’t have asked for a more fun-filled day.
A special shoutout to our amazing support team—my mum, Mary, and my nephew, Cameron! Their presence made the day even more memorable. Mum embraced her role with flair, earning the title of ‘Ponytail Queen’ with her expert Ponytail skills. And Cameron? Well, he earned the nickname ‘Smooth Operator’ for his impeccable technique and charm!
We loved having them join us amidst the whirlwind of activity. Their help and enthusiasm added an extra layer of joy to the event.
Here’s to a fantastic day and many more to come! Can’t wait to do it all over again next year. 🎉🌞
